MILLSTREET COUNTRY PARK With 500 acres of lakes, streams,waterfalls, walks, picnic areas, wetlands, and moorlands, arboretum, archaeological sites, herb rich meadows,native deer, ornamental gardens, birds and wildlife it offers an iimediate look into Ireland's diverse fauna and flora. Well worth a visit. COBH HERITAGE CENTRE Cobh Heritage Centre describes the story of Cobh's origins, it's history is captured in the Queenstown Story (Queenstown being its old colonial name). There is an exciting multimedia exhibition at Cobh's restored Victorian Railway Station.Themes covered are the Titanic, emigration & famine. There is also a new Genealogy Service available. GARNISH ISLANDVisit one the most beautiful islands off Ireland - Ilnacullin island or Garnish island in the english language. This island is a micro climate basked in the warmth of the gulf stream and has many rare and exotic plants. Its well worth a visit.
